CD copies of court recordings

Requests for compact disc audio recordings of court proceedings must be made in writing to the Isle of Man Courts of Justice.

Those requesting copies of court hearings on CD must complete and sign a CD request form which should then be submitted using one of the options detailed in the document. This form consists of two parts:

  • guidelines as to how the CD request section of the form should be completed; and

  • an undertaking which must be signed by the requestor.

Once your request for a copy CD has been approved, you will need to pay a fee for the CD itself. The cost of a copy CD will be detailed in the current Courts Service Fees Order. Payment can be made at the public counter of the Courts of Justice by cheque or payment card.

For customers who are not on the Isle of Man, payment for a copy CD may be made via the Courts' dedicated payments telephone number: +44 (0)1624 686423. Please note that payments must be in GBP.

This telephone is not always manned but will go to voicemail where you should not leave your payment card details but rather leave a telephone number we can call you back on to complete the transaction.
